Description & Building Alterations

This heavily modified structure at No. 330 East 8th Street was a two-story garage building in the 1980s. The third floor and mezzanine addition is clearly delineated by the change in brick type and begins just above the third floor window sills.

The earliest Certificate of Occupancy dates to 1956 and indicates the use of the building as shipping and storage with offices on the second floor. The most recent Certificate of Occupancy dates to 1997 and indicates the first floor was utilized for meat storage and shipping, and the second and third floors are apartments.

Currently, at least part of the building serves Cycle Garage, a bike storage facility open since 1995.
