Description & Building Alterations

The building at 35 Avenue has had much of its character defining features removed.

Built in the mid to late 1800’s as two brick rowhouses one of the storefronts was altered in 1880 when it was owned by Mr. Sulzenberger. In 1882 a rear addition was built. By the 1960’s the homes were divided into multiple apartments.
