313-327 East 13th Street | Block : 455 | Lot #52
Description & Building Alterations
A fourteen-story apartment building, demolished in 2018, was the third building to occupy this lot. According to the Office for Metropolitan History, it was designed by architect Pryun Bergen & Associates and erected by the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in 1970. The building was clad in brown and tan brick, and had an off-center tower on the west side next to the two westernmost bays. Previously, a four-story tenement building sat on the site until 1961, after which it was replaced by a six-story apartment building.
