Description & Building Alterations

This five-story brick tenement was built in 1876-77, combining an earlier building on Lot 9 and Lot 10. It was to be occupied by four families per each of the four upper floors and two stores in the ground level.

The surface of the stripped neo-Grec facade has been parged. Original ornamentation such the sills and lintels have been recently removed.

What is the Building Blocks Project
