Description & Building Alterations
This five-story tenement was originally erected in 1838-39, probably as a three-story house. In 1874 it was raised to five stories, during an alteration designed by William Jose. Its facade today features bracketed cornice with a segmental-arched pediment and paneled frieze, neo Grec molded lintels, with triangular pediments at second story, and footed sills. The first-story has been altered and refaced with brick.
