241 East 7th Street | Block : 377 | Lot #67
Description & Building Alterations
This is a six-story old law tenement designed by Schneider & Herter in 1897, originally containing 24 apartments. It is a brick building with Renaissance Revival stone details, a bracketed cornice, and squared, drop lintels. However, on the third level the windows are encased in rounded arches. On the ground level, brownstone trim contrasts the white brick, and a brownstone-carved face forms the keystone over the main entrance.
