Description & Building Alterations
This five-story brick building was constructed in 1925, according to the Office for Metropolitan History. It was designed as a hospital for the St. Marks Hospital Association. A Temporary Certificate of Occupancy issued in 1945 reveals that floors one through four were used as a private school. By 1962, each story contained several classrooms.
This was previously Lots 41-44.
