Description & Building Alterations

This rowhouse was built along with its neighbor at Number 228 East 11th Street between 1850-53. The four-story building shares similar architectural details from the arched openings on the first floor with keystones above the openings to the decorative arched sills and lintels on the third and fourth floors.
