Description & Building Alterations

This five-story tenement was originally erected in 1853, probably as a private home. Its current facade, which replaced the original in 1906, features simplified window lintels with keystones and rectangular sills. The original cornice has been removed and the storefront has been altered. The fire escapes have also been replaced since the 1980s, as indicated by the tax photo.
