Description & Building Alterations

This five-story Queen Anne style tenement is on the corner of Avenue A and East 13th Street. The building has ornamental details that include decorative window lintels, beltcourses, and floral spandrel panels. Both the Avenue A and 13th Street facades are decorated using brickwork, corbelling, and two terra cotta panels that feature a scepter motif. The building’s cornice is missing and the ground floor commercial space has a contemporary storefront.
