Description & Building Alterations

A four-story brick tenement and rear building were originally erected on this lot before 1847. In 1863, a fifth story was added to the building for owner P. Hart. A store occupied the first floor for a period of time. The present facade features a simple bracketed cornice which dates from a renovation in 2009. The historical window lintels and sills have been stripped and the storefront has been largely altered since then.
