Description & Building Alterations

In 1935 the pre-law tenement on this lot was condemned for safety concerns and demolished. The lot sat vacant until 1947 when the Tublin brothers built this one-story garage and storage facility for bottled beverage distribution. Four years later, the brothers built another one-story garage a block away at 188 East 2nd Street.

What is the Building Blocks Project
