Description & Building Alterations

This five-story tenement was originally erected in 1838-39.

The present facade features a plain brick surface. The historical stepped parapet, window lintels and sills have been removed. The existing cast-iron pilasters flanking the entrance probably date to a 1932 alteration to install a new storefront.
