Description & Building Alterations

According to tax assessment records, this building was constructed as a row house along with its back house in 1854-55, and both replaced an earlier building. An alteration permit was filed for both buildings in 1907 by M. Zipkes for S. Tichler, as seen in the Real Estate Record and Builders Guide from that year (link at the sidebar). Although the upper stories are intact, the ground floor is not. It is coated in white stucco and showcases a Colonial Revival style doorway.
