Description & Building Alterations

This new law tenement, along with its neighbor at 134-136 Avenue C, was constructed in 1903 to the designs of Alfred E. Badt. Unlike its neighbor, 140 Avenue C retains its cornice. Both buildings display a rich amount of historic detail on the residential floors above storefront level.

What is the Building Blocks Project
