This twenty-three family old law tenement was constructed in 1900 by Michael Bernstein for Charles Weinstein. The six-story building features a neo-Renaissance facade with an intact cornice. It is clad in red brick and terra-cotta diaperwork panels.

It was designed by Michael Bernstein before he entered into partnership with his brother Mitchell to form the firm Bernstein & Bernstein, known for its prolific tenement designs.
