Description & Building Alterations
This five-story old law tenement was erected in 1882, designed by architect Julius Boekell and owned by George Roll, along with the buildings next to it at Nos. 67, 69, 71 First Avenue. The building was to be occupied by 10 families and two stores in the basement.
The building features a bracketed cornice in Queen Anne-style. The window lintels and sills appear to have been stripped before the 1980s. A new storefront was installed in 1937.
