Description & Building Alterations
This five-story tenement was originally built in 1869. Originally designed by William E. Waring for owner Herman Bruns, the tenement went through alterations designed by Kurtzer & Rohl, together with the neighboring buildings on Lots 31 and 32, in 1895 and 1905.
The original cornice has been removed, though the arched window lintels and sills remain. There is also quoining along the right edge of the facade. The ground floor has been altered.
