126 East 4th Street | Block : 445 | Lot #29
Description & Building Alterations
This five-story and basement tenement building was constructed in 1894 by architect William Graul for owner George Horenburger. It was to be occupied by 21 families.
The facade features elaborate entrance enframements with a decorated door hood, spandrels, ornamental tympanum, beltcourses, and a bracketed cornice with Queen Anne-style elements, which was probably installed at a later time.
