Description & Building Alterations

This six-story new law tenement building was built in 1903, designed by Horenburger & Straub with store space on the ground floor and apartments for 28 families (three families on the first floor, and five families on each of the second through sixth floors).

The facade features elaborate window enframements on four side bays, decorative window lintels and sills on four central bays (except the windows on the top floor), ornamented beltcourses, elaborate entrance enframements and a bracketed cornice. The building also features basket-style fire escapes.
