Description & Building Alterations

Originally built in 1841-43 as a private dwelling for R. Reading, the building was extended to five stories in 1876 to accommodate a store and eight apartments.

The present three-bay wide facade features a bracketed cornice with a decorated frieze, window lintels and bracketed sills. The ground floor storefront has been altered.
