105 First Avenue | Block : 448 | Lot #31
Description & Building Alterations
The building was originally erected in 1841-43, and probably turned into a four-story with basement tenement later on. In 1882, it was occupied by three families.
It went through multiple alterations in the 1930s and 1980s. The present facade features a bracketed roof cornice with ornamental frieze, elaborate window lintels and projecting bracketed sills. It is unclear when the two-story storefront addition was added, though the store cornice remained until at least 1916.
