This five-story brick tenement building was constructed in 1891 for owners Michael Fay and William Stacom, designed by Charles Rentz, Jr. The building was to be occupied by twenty families.

The ground floor is covered by rusticated brownstone, contrasting the yellow bricks on the facade of the upper floors. The entrance is marked by a massive portico with decorative details like figural carving. Other features include terra-cotta capitals, ornamental lintels and arched terra-cotta spandrels.

The stoop has been resurfaced and the bracketed/modillioned cornice is original.
