Description & Building Alterations

The six-story tenement at 32 East 7th Street was designed by George Frederick Pelham for Jacob Klingenstein in 1897.  The building, which is made of brick with terra cotta details and a pressed-metal cornice, was designed to house twenty-two families and two stores.
