Description & Building Alterations
This is a five-story brick residential building constructed with no. 255 in 1897 in a Renaissance Revival style. The cornice consists of heavy brackets on top of a frieze of dentils. Each level alternates between squared and rounded arched lintels with animal keystones, and is also separated by different belt courses, some made of stone and some with patterned brickwork. The entrance is encased in a rounded cast stone arch topped with oversized brackets.
