Description & Building Alterations
This six-story brick tenement was built in 1903 for stores and 16 families. It was designed by architects Bernstein & Bernstein. The present facade features beltcourses, brick quoins flanking the side bays, segmental-arched pediments with carved decorations and brackets, splayed lintels with scroll keystones, panels with elaborate ornaments, basket-style wrought-iron balconies, and ornamented pilasters flanking the main entry. The original galvanized-iron roof cornice has been removed.
