Description & Building Alterations

This five-story tenement was erected in 1877 for eight families and one store, designed by architect F. W. Klemt.

The building facade features a bracketed galvanized-iron cornice with a slightly projecting and elevated centerpiece, projecting brick piers with decorations through fourth and fifth stories, window lintels with curved pediments and neo-Grec details, decorative multi-colored brick courses, and an entrance enframement with pilasters.

What is the Building Blocks Project
