This Renaissance Revival six-story with basement tenement was constructed in 1899. It is located in the East Village/Lower East Side Historic District and was built at the same time as its neighbor at 411 East 6th Street.

Like its neighbor, the stoop was removed and the entrance was modified in 1955. More information can be found in the Designation Report, linked in the “Additional Resources” section.

What is the Building Blocks Project
