Description & Building Alterations

This five-story tenement was constructed in 1861. At some point between the 1940s and 1980s, the former Italianate style facade was completely altered (see photos in sidebar). In addition to new brick cladding, the four bays of single windows were replaced with two bays of paired windows. The former Italianate facade featured a bracketed cornice and windows with large lintels and sills. It also had a central ground floor entrance.
