Description & Building Alterations
This Greek Revival building was likely residential with a commercial first floor when it was built in 1850. According to an alteration permit, the first floor commercial storefront had a stone post and lintel-style construction, typical of Greek Revival commercial space. The lintels are simple molding profiles likely made of cast iron and the classically detailed cornice is also simple, utilizing block modillions and dentils. The storefront has been altered.
