92 St. Mark’s Place | Block : 435 | Lot #10
Description & Building Alterations
This building was originally constructed with the buildings on lots 9 and 11 by the same owner in 1851 and 1852.
This five-story tenement with basement appears to have been altered, probably along with the neighboring building at 132 First Avenue, in 1888. The brick building features bracketed window lintels, large window sills, and a decorative cornice with an elevated cornice centerpiece supported by brackets.
Block : 435 / Lot : 010 / Building Date : 1851-52 / Original Owner : James Wood / Original Use : Residential / Original Architect : Unknown
