This five-story with basement tenement was built in 1865-66 by the heirs of Stephen Whitney, who purchased many properties on this block in 1825.

The facade features a bracketed cornice with frieze, arched window lintels, bracketed sills and a cornice above the first story. The entrance is on the first floor.
