Description & Building Alterations
This contemporary theater with a cinder block and glass facade was preceded by a building known as Concordia Hall in 1903, but it is not clear when it was demolished. Prior to the current building, there was a one-story vacant building on site owned by New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
In 1917, a resident of this building was arrested along with dozens of others at Arlington Hall for not having draft papers.
