65 East 2nd Street | Block : 443 | Lot #19
Description & Building Alterations
This three-story red brick building was originally built as a Greek Revival-style row house in 1834 by owner Amelia Judah. The Italianate details were likely added in the 19th century.
The facade features cast-iron stoop posts, hand railings and a basket-style iron fire escape. Other features include molded window lintels and sills, a bracketed cornice, and historic wood windows. The entrance enframements include foliate brackets supporting a door hood, rope molding, and glazed transom. The stoop is also historic.
