510 East 11th Street | Block : 404 | Lot #9
Description & Building Alterations
This four-story building was constructed in 1846 for owner William F. Pinchback. By the 1920s, the building was occupied by two families per floor above the ground level.
Its brick facade features a triangular parapet, a later alteration constructed of brick that is not identical to the brick found on the main facade. The windows consist of Italianate lintels and sills. Between the second and third stories are star studs, which help maintain the walls. The ground level’s storefront has been renovated.
