Description & Building Alterations

This five-story, “pre-law” tenement was built in 1860 according to tax assessment record. The straight lintels with classical moldings and bracketed pediments are typical of the Italianate style popular in the mid-nineteenth century. The small windows between the center and right window bays were likely installed during an alteration that added bathrooms to the building.
