46 Stuyvesant is a four-story Anglo-Italianate former row house, featuring a rusticated base and central entrance. It sits on a triangular-shaped lot, which formerly belonged to Peter Stuyvesant’s farm. The lot changed hands several times before it was acquired by builder John L. Smith in 1853, who constructed the building that stands at #46 today.

What is the Building Blocks Project
