Description & Building Alterations

There are two buildings on this lot. The front one is a four-story brick building originally erected in 1851 as a row house. Tax assessment records show that the lot was valued at $1,100 in 1850 when P. Stuyvesant was listed as the owner. In 1851, the lot was owned by Hugh Cunningham, listed as a Lot & House, and valued at $4,500. The lot held two buildings by the start of the 20th century, at which point both had been converted to multiple-unit dwellings. The front building housed 9 families and the rear building housed 8 families.

The present facade features a simple bracketed cornice, molded window lintels, rectangular sills, and a simple molded door hood.
