Description & Building Alterations

Originally an 1846 row house was at this location. In December of 1873, alteration permits were filed by architect Ohl & Furchtenicht, who raised the building a story and a half and rebuilt the front and rear facades. The present facade features ornamented molded window lintels with triangular pediments at the second story, footed sills with molding, and an entrance portico set on a high stoop, flanked by whole pilasters, with a triangular pediment on top. The historical roof cornice has been removed.
