Description & Building Alterations
This five-story brick building was constructed c. 1852-53 by owner John M. Ferdinand.
The Italianate facade was altered with neo-Grec elements. It features galvanized iron lintels and sills, a bracketed cornice, and a fire escape with cast-iron stair posts and hand rails and basket-style balconies, which are examples of historic metal work. The facade also features a decorative door hood.
