No. 29 Avenue C is a four-story multi-family walk-up building built in 1998. At one time, a brick, five-story tenement building with stores on the ground floor occupied the site. The tenement building existed there at least as early as 1902. The lot was vacant, however, by the time a tax photo was taken in the 1980’s.

What is the Building Blocks Project
