Description & Building Alterations

There are two buildings on this lot: a four story building with no cornice and a five story building with a cornice and profiled window lintels. Tax records indicate that the four story building was built between 1841 and 1842 along with No. 284 East 7th Street/91 Avenue D as seen in the tax record and supported by the 1853 map. The owner at that time was Casper Trumpy. The larger building built between 1869 and 1870 as seen in the tax records and the owner of all three buildings at that time was
