The building originally on this lot was built along with its neighbor at 268 East 4^th Street.

The five-story Old Law Tenement was demolished in 1974 and the lot was later converted into a garden. The green space is now owned by the New York City Parks Department and is named Generation X Garden.

What is the Building Blocks Project
