Description & Building Alterations
This five-story tenement was originally erected in 1838-39, along with the neighboring buildings at 269-273 East 10th Street. It was raised to five stories in 1873. The current facade features a bracketed cornice with a segmental-arched pediment and frieze, and engaged pilasters dividing the entries at first story. The historical lintels and sills have been stripped.
