243 East 7th Street | Block : 377 | Lot #66
Description & Building Alterations
This is a three-story residential building constructed in 1843 for James Little, though most of its historic features are gone. It was part of the “Political Row”, where many local, state and federal politicians lived. Today the façade is unadorned, but in the 1940s tax photo, the building has a bracketed cornice and window lintels and sills. The current doors are historic; however the railings have been replaced. Other alterations include a rooftop garden.
