No. 234 East 3^rd Street was constructed in 2002 as a six-story residential building. It is faced in red brick, with yellow brick belt courses and window trimmings. On the same lot in 1903, a permit was submitted to erect a six-story tenement building on the site to house 22 families. This tenement house was demolished by the early 1980’s, as evidenced by tax photos from that time.

What is the Building Blocks Project
