Description & Building Alterations

This five-story brick tenement building was erected in 1867, at the same time as the rest buildings in this block on First Avenue. The owner’s name is illegible on the tax assessment record for that year.

Its present facade features a bracketed cornice with paneled frieze, segmental-arched window openings with molded lintels and footed sills. The storefront has been altered multiple times.
