Description & Building Alterations

This five-story tenement building is similar to the three buildings that have been combined on lot 23.  It is a “pre-law” tenement.  The ground floor appears to have been altered at the same time as the neighboring buildings since it utilizes the same off-white color brick and basic design.  The upper stories would have had segmental arched window lintels, some of which remain in various states of disrepair.  Other lintels have been completely replaced with plain brick.  The cornice remains intact with what appears to be a corbelled brick lower section with other molding profiles above.
