No. 15 Avenue C was built in 1911 by architect Jacob Fisher for owner Pauline Gross and was used as a store, offices and dwellings. At the time of construction the building had a galvanized iron cornice which has since been removed. Stone quoins at the corners of the second and third stories make this building stand out against others of its size in the neighborhood. Another unique characteristic is the column of recessed bay windows on the East 2^nd Street side of the building.
