Description & Building Alterations

This was built originally in 1841 as a three-story building with a basement and attic. It was altered in 1885, adding additional floors and the current cornice with the date “1885” on it.

The present facade features the bracketed galvanized iron cornice with a pediment and paneled frieze. Most historic details like the window lintels and sills have been stripped. The storefront has also been modified.
